Aqueous component cleaning specialist, MecWash Systems, is delighted to announce that its Quality Management System has been accredited to the new internationally recognised ISO 9001:2015 standard.
The certification covers MecWash for the Design, Manufacture, Installation and Servicing of Aqueous Parts Cleaning and Degreasing Systems for Metal and Plastic Engineering Components.
John Pattison, Managing Director of the Tewkesbury-based company, said: “Changes introduced in the 2015 revision are intended to ensure that ISO 9001 continues to adapt to the different environments in which organisations such as ourselves operate.
“Companies were given a three-year period in which to transition to the new standard but we decided to apply for it as soon as possible and have just received the certificate so customers can now rest assured that we continue to be fully accredited,” he added.
MecWash has established a global reputation for manufacturing high quality, robust parts washers that stand the test of time. ISO accreditation is official recognition of the level of quality that MecWash provides throughout the whole customer journey – from design and manufacture right through to installation and maintenance.
John said: “More and more manufacturers around the world are recognising the value of investing in quality parts washing equipment to ensure their components meet and exceed the cleanliness standards demanded by their customers in a range of precision engineering sectors, including automotive, aerospace and fluid power.
“We are very proud to be able to say that we are now ISO 9001:2015 accredited so our customers can continue to be assured that we have this official stamp of approval for the way we manage our systems and ensure everyone receives the same high standard of service they have come to expect,” he added.
