MecWash is delighted to announce that it has appointed a representative in China, Gordon King, as a direct response to increasing demand for the company’s aqueous cleaning systems and support services. Gordon has previously worked in the wash industry in the UK and has been based in Shanghai for a number of years.

Managing Director, John Pattison, says, “We have sold quite a few machines to China, but most of the sales have been through existing UK or US customers asking us to support them in new ventures in China.  The objective of this appointment is to push more actively into the market, to appoint some reputable local distributors and to offer our customers in China enhanced support. We’re really excited that Gordon has joined us as it signals a further stage in MecWash’s international growth.”

MecWash’s push into China follows its expansion in the North American market. US sales have increased markedly following attendance at some of the manufacturing industry’s largest trade shows including IMTS last year and EASTEC and PMTS earlier this year.
