The continued expansion into key international markets by MecWash, the UK’s leading designer and manufacturer of industrial parts washing systems, will see it exhibiting at this September’s International Manufacturing Technology Show in Chicago, Illinois (10 – 15 September 2018).
The Tewkesbury based specialist manufacturer of aqueous parts cleaning and degreasing systems will be showcasing its product range at the Americas’ largest manufacturing exhibition, attended by over 115,000 industry decision makers. More than 2,400 exhibitors attended last year’s expo, with delegates coming from more than 117 countries.
“IMTS is a key industry event for us with manufacturers from some of our key sectors attending from across the Americas and the rest of the world,” said Bill Westbrook, North American Operations Manager at MecWash.
“MecWash Systems already has a number of high profile customers in the US including Husco (which bought a new MWX400 for its US operation this year), Stewart and Woodward. Our machines are used in a varied range of industries from blowtorch manufacturers like Bernzomatic (one of the most recognised names in the American plumbing and DIY sectors) to A-Dec and Sorin in the medical sector. Kinemotive Corporation, who manufacture high precision bellows, switches and sensors, also opted for a MecWash cleaning system which resulted in a drastic solvent cost reduction”.

MecWash cleaning systems are also used by a large number of blue chip US businesses in their manufacturing sites outside of the US. For example, Cummins Inc commissioned two MecWash Duos at their Scottish plant, United Technologies (formerly Goodrich Corporation), have MecWash systems in the UK, Germany, Poland and Indonesia, Perkins / Caterpillar in the UK and India, and Hydraforce have systems in the UK and China.
A MecWash Duo will be among the products highlighted throughout the five day event at stand 121-352 where visitors will be able to give the MecWash machine a closer inspection. This is in addition to discussing our range and our expertise in the development of wash chemicals and component and contamination analysis.
Visitors to the expo will be coming from sectors including aerospace, automotive, defence, and precision machining.
