The MecWash team had a fruitful Southern Manufacturing and Electronics Show (SMES) in Farnborough, with some of the biggest names in UK manufacturing in attendance. The event produced multiple enquiries from across industry with many companies keen to streamline their parts washing process.
MecWash exhibited the new MWX300 system at the Farnborough International Exhibition Centre based show, which proved popular with the attendees and attracted decent footfall. John Pattison, managing director at MecWash, and sales manager, Paul Jarratt, were present at SMES and spoke with both existing and potential clients from across the UK.
Many of the people the team spoke with were interested in the unparalleled UK-wide coverage from the MecWash support team. Attendees saw the value in MecWash both designing and manufacturing the parts washing systems and chemical cleaning solutions in the UK, which has become even more important with unpredictable global supply chains.
John Pattison comments: “There were some strong enquiries from new contacts to follow up on plus some of our established connections were interested in purchasing new machines due to their strong order books and new contracts they have taken on.
“The customers that Paul and I spoke to were keen to understand the bespoke options that MecWash offer, with ultrasonic component cleaning being discussed frequently. Our track record of providing industrial parts washers to some of the biggest blue-chip brands in the UK gives potential customers real confidence in MecWash.
“SMES always provides a good footfall of attendees and has helped to further our relationships across the sector. Attending this event has resulted in several sales for us over recent years, and we look forward to returning in the future.”
