UK-based aqueous parts washing specialist MecWash Systems is seeking to further strengthen its presence in the US by attending the Precision Machining Technology Show (PMTS) in Columbus, Ohio, for the fourth time in a row.
MecWash will be highlighting the company’s cleaning expertise during the 2017 event which runs from April 25-27 and can be found on Booth 1513 in the show’s dedicated Parts Cleaning Pavilion.
John Pattison, managing director at the Tewkesbury based company, says: “We exhibited at the first PMTS held back in 2011 and were also at the 2013 and 2015 events so I am delighted we are now exhibiting for a fourth time.
“PMTS is the only show in North America dedicated to the Precision Machining industry and, with more than 280 exhibitors displaying equipment, products and services to some 6,000 attendees, it offers an ideal international gathering where we can showcase our aqueous cleaning capabilities.
“The United States has been a key market for MecWash since we first installed a machine there in 2006 and, since then, sales have steadily increased. Following the 2015 event, we were able to appoint two USA distributors after meeting them at PMTS and they now support growing demand for our high specification cleaning systems,” he added.
All MecWash machines are built to the highest standards in the UK and then shipped around the world and the company has cleaning systems installed in more than 25 countries while a network of global distributors allows customers to access local support when required.
Bill Westbrook, MecWash Systems’ North American Operations Manager, who has worked for the company since 2010, says: “The robust construction of our machines means we have developed a reputation for consistently delivering the best results possible. As such, our market share continues to grow as more and more manufacturers realize the benefits of an investment in quality cleaning equipment.
“The performance of our systems has already been recognised by a number of US manufacturers including aerospace specialist Kinemotive Corporation, dental products manufacturer, A-dec and diesel fuel injection pump producer, Woodward.
“Pratt & Whitney Canada, one of the world’s largest aerospace manufacturers, and Stewart Manufacturing, a major machining vendor to the heavy equipment industry also benefit from MecWash aqueous cleaning systems and we hope to meet many more potential customers at PMTS,” he added.
John Pattison concludes: “The United States offers huge potential for MecWash, so much so that we have a dedicated US-based technical sales specialist and a US website.
“Exhibiting at PMTS in 2017 will provide an excellent opportunity for us to promote MecWash’s capabilities to a wide audience interested in finding out more about the latest developments in Precision Machining.
“We are based in the Parts Cleaning Pavilion, a venue where cleaning meets machining that enables attendees to find out how a proper cleaning regime such as the systems we offer can save them both time and money,” he added.
PMTS is being held at the Greater Columbus Convention Centre.
