Trio of distributors appointed to increase MecWash’s share of US parts washing market

MecWash Systems Ltd has appointed a trio of USA distributors to support the growing demand for its high specification cleaning systems.
Illinois based Quality Machinery Systems & Minnesota based Stone Machinery, along with B&M Industries, located in Ohio, have been appointed to help increase MecWash’s share of the US component cleaning market.
MecWash’s North America Operations Manager, Bill Westbrook, comments, “We are really pleased to have the three companies on board. Two of them have established reputations as machine tool distributors and the third is experienced in wash systems so all already have significant contacts among our target audience.”
“Anyone that manufactures metal parts is theoretically a potential MecWash customer and the high quality of finish that our machines can achieve is fast being recognised by some of the US’ leading names.”
MecWash has exported to the USA for approximately ten years, initially to existing UK customers opening new manufacturing facilities and duplicating processes and equipment which they were familiar with. Managing Director John Pattison explains, “Whilst we’ve done business in the US for a while now, we haven’t done much marketing of MecWash in the USA other than exhibiting at some of the larger trade fairs.
“The USA remains a significant opportunity for MecWash and we’re confident that our new distributors will help us raise the profile of the MecWash brand amongst discerning manufacturers.”
MecWash component cleaning systems are all bespoke builds, based on the customer’s individual requirements. The latest cleaning technologies, coupled with specialist chemicals formulated by MecWash in-house when required, enable customers to meet the demanding requirements of industries with stringent surface finish standards.
John says, “We’ve been gradually building up momentum in North America and the time feels right for us to take a more proactive approach.”
“We’re confident that this trio of appointments will help MecWash become more widely recognised with manufacturers that need to achieve the highest standards of cleanliness for components destined for use in sectors including aerospace, automotive and medical technologies.”
The independently owned company will be exhibiting at the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) in Chicago in September and is hoping for a repeat performance of 2014 which resulted in high sales volume and wider brand awareness.
