MecWash Systems comes to PMTS, Booth 1226

UK based aqueous parts washing specialist MecWash Systems will highlight its cleaning expertise in Booth #1226 at the Precision Machining Technology Show (PMTS), to be held in Columbus, Ohio on April 21-23.

MecWash Systems’ precision component washing and degreasing equipment has been recognized by some of the world’s leading manufacturers who trust MecWash Systems’ component cleaning equipment to deliver spotless results. The systems are used to clean machined parts used in a range of sectors including aerospace, automotive, hydraulics and medical technologies.

Managing Director, John Pattison, says, “The United States has been a key market for MecWash since we first installed a machine there in 2006. Sales have steadily increased and we are currently working on two significant custom equipment orders destined for North America.

”Our cleaning systems are designed to meet the needs of even the most demanding precision machining applications. We work closely with customers to identify the best functionality for their specific cleaning requirements and the hands-on nature of our service is highly valued by them.”

All MecWash machines are built to the highest standards in the UK and then shipped around the world. MecWash have cleaning systems installed in more than 25 countries. A network of global distributors allows customers to access local support when required.

Bill Westbrook, MecWash Systems’ North American Operations Manager, has worked for the company since 2010. He says, “Because of the robust construction of our machines, we have developed a reputation for consistently delivering the best results possible. As such, our market share continues to grow as more and more manufacturers realize the benefits of an investment in quality cleaning equipment.”

The high performance specification of MecWash systems means they can be installed in 24/7 manufacturing environments. Thus, customers can quickly scale up production if needed without causing a bottleneck in their parts cleaning when they choose MecWash.

MecWash Systems’ performance, has been recognized by a number of US manufacturers including aerospace specialist Kinemotive Corporation, dental products manufacturer, A-dec and diesel fuel injection pump producer, Woodward.

Recent orders have been placed by Pratt & Whitney Canada, one of the world’s largest aerospace manufacturers and Stewart Manufacturing, a major machining vendor to the heavy equipment industry.

John Pattison concludes, “The United States offers huge potential for MecWash, so much so that we launched a dedicated US-based website late last year to ensure customers can easily access the local information needed to make an informed decision about our products.

“Exhibiting at PMTS will provide an excellent opportunity for us to promote MecWash’s capabilities to a wide audience interested in finding out about the latest developments in Precision Machining.”
