Popular Duo will be centre of attention at Aero Engineering

Aqueous component cleaning specialist, MecWash, will be showcasing the cleaning capabilities of its popular Duo machine on stand D25 at the Aero Engineering Show this November. This will be MecWash’s fourth consecutive year of exhibiting at the show.

The Tewkesbury based manufacturer has an established reputation amongst key manufacturers within the aerospace sector, who have been impressed by MecWash’s range of high quality component cleaning machines, including the Duo system.

Responsible for almost 50% of sales by volume over the last 12 months, the MecWash Duo is a highly versatile aqueous cleaning system that achieves great cleaning results without the need for harmful solvent based degreasing agents.

Managing Director, John Pattison, comments, “The Duo is one of our most popular wash systems as it is a very good value package for the standard of cleanliness delivered.”

MecWash has seen a resurgence of demand from UK based companies over the last 24 months, which is testimony to the strength of recovery of our manufacturing industry following the recent downturn.  In addition, John adds, “MecWash is strengthening its presence in export markets to support leading engineering businesses that are extending their globalisation. Also we are finding that more and more of the blue chip companies’ local suppliers are recognising the importance of investing in quality equipment that consistently delivers the high levels of cleanliness demanded, particularly for aerospace.”

Celebrating its 20th year in business, MecWash has established an unrivalled reputation with a number of high profile companies within the aerospace sector including UTAS Goodrich, Eaton Aerospace, Bulwell, Selex and SPS Technologies Ltd.

John finishes, “Over the years, MecWash has developed strong relationships with a number of aerospace manufacturers who trust our ability to provide advanced component cleaning systems that ensure the highest standards of cleanliness with every wash.

“The Aero Engineering Show has been consistently successful for MecWash, resulting in a number of high calibre sales enquiries which we hope to replicate at this year’s event.”
