MACH 2014 proved hugely successful for MecWash, resulting in a significant number of high-quality enquiries for both its aqueous component cleaning machines and Aqua-Save water recycling and treatment systems.
This year’s show was the fifth time MecWash has exhibited at MACH, which is widely regarded as the leading bi-annual event in the UK’s manufacturing sector calendar - over 21,500 visitors attended the 2012 show and the recent exhibition proved even more successful with a 15% increase on attendance.
MecWash Marketing Manager, Claire Knight, comments, “The five day show was extremely well attended. We had a record number of enquiries this year, which is really encouraging. It shows that the market is picking up and companies are once again looking to invest in new machinery. Our stand included two demo machines, a MecWash DUO and an Aqua-Save Junior 2, so visitors could actually see the systems in action and this approach was very well received by the steady stream of visitors we welcomed during the week.”
The central location of MACH provided an ideal opportunity to catch up with a number of existing, as well as potential, customers from around the UK; MecWash attended a number of pre-arranged meetings that took place throughout the week, including one with a new enquiry from a company based in Scotland.
Claire continues, “Our sales team have a busy time ahead following up on all of the meetings that took place at the show and the enquiries that we received over the course of the five days.
“MACH provides an invaluable opportunity to showcase our capabilities to key decision makers across the whole manufacturing spectrum and we have plans to book a space again at the 2016 show.”
