MecWash will be demonstrating the cleaning capabilities of its Duo machine, combined with an Aqua-Save wash water recycling and waste coolant treatment system, on Stand 5471 at MACH 2014.
MecWash designs and manufactures a range of precision aqueous parts cleaning and degreasing systems for metal and plastic engineering components. First established in 1993, the independently owned company has since earned a reputation as a market leader. It now works closely with a number of the UK’s leading manufacturers in a range of industries to ensure the cleanliness of their components meets and exceeds the standards demanded by their respective sectors.
The company’s success has also resulted in a significant growth in export sales. MecWash has representatives in North America and China and works with distributors in a number of European countries, whilst shipping to countries in the ASEAN region and elsewhere is handled directly by the company’s UK head office.
Managing Director, John Pattison, says, “We’re celebrating our 20th anniversary this year and MACH will be the first major UK show that we exhibit at. We’re looking forward to showing visitors exactly why we’re trusted to clean components for some of the best known names in UK manufacturing.”
The highly versatile Duo is a firm favourite with MecWash customers around the world. Offering a number of features including flood and spray washing, a spray rinse and hot air drying, it provides superior cleaning delivered by a good value machine which is compact enough to fit into a cell.

MACH also provides an opportunity for MecWash to showcase its Aqua-Save system, as John explains, “Water conservation is an increasing priority world-wide. The rising cost of off-site effluent removal and the need to reduce water consumption, means more and more of our customers are now purchasing Aqua-Save systems in conjunction with a MecWash cleaning system.
“Manufacturers of all sizes are keen to demonstrate their commitment to environmental responsibility - Aqua-Save systems support ISO14001 by reducing the volumes of water used in component cleaning.”
