MecWash showcases Aerospace success at annual WEAF Conference

Gloucestershire based aqueous cleaning component specialist, MecWash, will be attending the twelfth West of England Aerospace Forum (WEAF) Annual Conference, taking place at the Winter Gardens in Weston Super Mare, on 26th February.

This year, the trade show’s theme covers Innovation and Collaboration, together with an afternoon session on ‘Clean Sky’. Delegates and exhibitors will also hear from high profile industry experts including Professor John Bessant, GE Aviation, Altair, Rolls-Royce and Augusta Westland.

The WEAF trade show provides an excellent opportunity for MecWash to raise awareness of its products and services to leading Aerospace professionals, including its bespoke machine ‘Bladewash’ developed to clean turbine blades for one of the world’s largest jet engine manufacturers.

John Pattison, Managing Director of MecWash says, “MecWash has a long history of working with the Aerospace sector, where we have provided products and services to a number of companies that engineer precision components used in both civilian and military aircraft.

“The WEAF trade show is a valuable opportunity for us to discuss the benefits of MecWash machines to a range of Aerospace industry professionals all under one roof. Over 230 delegates attended last year’s event and we’re hoping the 2014 conference will be equally well attended.”

MecWash recently exhibited at the Aero Engineering Exhibition, part of the Advanced Engineering group of events, which resulted in a significant number of enquiries for MecWash’s aqueous cleaning expertise, both in the UK and overseas.
