Open houses offer MecWash opportunity to showcase capability

MecWash will be showcasing the capability of its aqueous cleaning machines at a series of forthcoming trade events by exhibiting a MecWash Duo component cleaning system in action.

The open house events have been designed to introduce visitors to machine tools made by the hosting OEMs, as well as a number of other exhibitors that manufacture machines and equipment used in precision engineering applications.

Effective degreasing and cleaning plays an integral part in precision component manufacturing – contamination can cause a number of issues and end users often dictate the cleanliness standards they require from parts manufacturers.

The MecWash Duo
The Duo is a highly versatile cleaning system, suitable for both large components; cylinder heads and valve blocks, as well as dense baskets of small turned parts. It delivers final wash quality with costs more often associated with an intermediate wash.

It boasts flood / immersion washing providing high standards of cleaning by full solution contact with all component surfaces, as well as a spray wash and a re-circulating heated spray rinse, which delivers superior surface finish by removing detergent residues left by the wash solution.  The process is completed with high volume hot air drying.

XYZ’s Manufacturing South West
MecWash will begin its latest promotional ‘tour’ by exhibiting at Manufacturing South West - a brand new exhibition hosted by XYZ Machine Tools at its headquarters in Devon, taking place on 9th/10th October.

Tornos and Matsuura’s ‘Think’
The following week will see MecWash heading off to Leicestershire to take part in the integrated ‘Think’ event located at Tornos and Matsuura’s neighbouring Technology Centres from 15th -17th October.

‘Think’ offers visitors the opportunity to witness and embrace innovative integrated manufacturing from six key companies, as well as the chance to find out about capital equipment, material technology, services and software. More details can be found on Matsuura’s website.

Managing Director John Pattison, says, “We work closely with a number of OEMs who specify our cleaning systems as part of their turnkey service offering, as well as production engineers looking for the highest standards of cleaning for their precision parts. Events like Manufacturing South West and ‘Think’ offer excellent opportunities to discuss and showcase the capability of our machines face to face.”

MecWash will also be exhibiting on Stand C55 at Aero Engineering, part of the Advanced Engineering group of events taking place at the NEC 12th -13th November. Follow us on LinkedIn for more details.
