MecWash will be exhibiting a Duo 400 on stand T60 at Southern Manufacturing 2013, taking place in Farnborough 13th/14th February.

Developed in 2009, the Duo 400 is now one of MecWash’s best selling aqueous cleaning machines and has been installed in manufacturing facilities across the globe. The Duo is a highly versatile cleaning system, suitable for both large components and dense baskets of small parts. It delivers final wash quality with costs more often associated with an intermediate wash.

The Duo also offers additional benefits including flood / immersion washing providing higher standards of cleaning by full solution contact with all component surfaces, and a re-circulating heated spray rinse, which delivers superior surface finish by removing detergent residues left by the wash solution.

The rinse stage can also be used to apply a longer term corrosion inhibitor for ferrous components and all wash cycles are finished off with a hot air dry. Weighing in at 1500 kilos, the Duo offers a generous wash chamber (w:400 x h:450 x l:650mm), but its footprint is small enough to comfortably fit in a cell.
